We had a positive case on our elementary campus reported on October 12, 2021. The person was last in the classroom on Monday, October 11, 2021. Schools are not required to do contact tracing at this time. If your student is showing symptoms, we ask that you keep them at home during illness or receive a negative COVID test result to rule-out the possibility before sending them back to school. We realize these posts can be repetitive, but we had rather err on the side of caution. Thank you for understanding as we post this information here on social media and our website going forward. Thank you for your cooperation.

James Poole Elementary Registration Procedures for 2020 - 2021 NEW STUDENTS AND PRE-K STUDENTS: Starting Tuesday, August 4th, parents may come into the office to register. You will need the following documents: a copy of the child’s birth certificate, a copy of their social security card, a copy of your driver’s license, the child’s current shot record and proof of residency (a utility bill such as electric or water). If your child is Pre-K, you must also provide 2 months of your pay stubs. Parents will be given the registration packet to take home and bring back as soon as possible. If choosing the remote learning option, registration papers will still need to be filled out for your student. RETURNING STUDENTS: Starting Wednesday, August 5th, parents may pick up registration papers to update student information for the upcoming school year. Parents will enter the building through the double doors at the front of the school, pick up a student registration packet, and then return it as soon as possible. Parents will choose whether their student will attend school face-to-face or do remote learning. Information will be provided to explain remote learning. If choosing the remote learning option, registration papers will still need to be filled out for your student.
