Super proud of our Harmony FFA kids today and yesterday. Our Milk Quality and Products, Nursery/Landscape and Veterinary Science teams put forth great efforts, but fell just a hair short of making the state contest. Our Livestock Evaluation team coached by Mr Darby came in 6th today out of 53 teams and punched their ticket to the state dance. Mrs Darby's Dairy Cattle Evaluation team brought home the Area Championship yesterday with Bailee Chavez being named the 5th High Individual and today her Floriculture team finished 3rd and got their state advancement. Kateltyn Katelyn Perryman finished as the 3rd High Individual in this contest as well. Finally, Mr Jordan's Poultry Evaluation team won the Area VI Championship and Anahi Gallegos won the High Point Individual of the contest with a monster score of 590. Chris Hurtado was right behind in 3rd. Super proud of these kids and we have area contests still to go on Thursday and Saturday.
