• Ability to work well with children
• Ability to communicate effectively with students and parents

Junior High Volleyball
Thursday 8/24, the Junior High girls will have their first game of the season. It is at home against Winona. We will play 3 matches- 8B, 7A, 8A starting at 4:30. All tickets will be sold online on the Harmony ISD main page under Home Town Tickets.
Homecoming is next Friday, September 1!
Junior High will celebrate next Friday's game by having spirit days all next week! Students are invited to participate to show our spirit for the Varsity Eagles as they get ready to Smoke the Oak in the battle against White Oak! Go Eagles

Harmony Junior High celebrates a full week of learning!
Harmony Junior High is actively recruiting UIL participants! This week students will be asked to complete a google form to indicate interest in a variety of UIL events. We hope that you encourage your child to participate in UIL!
Events include art, science, math, listening skills, oral reading and so many more!
Once a student makes the team, please be on the lookout for a note and some study hints from their UIL coach!
Registration Reminder!
You may still pick up and drop off your students 23-24 registration packets in the office of the Junior High. Tuesday, August 8, we will have Meet the Teacher from 3:30 - 6:00. Packets may be picked up and dropped off at that time as well.
Harmony Junior High Registration Update
Thursday, August 3, the office will be open from 8am - 6pm and Friday from 10:30am to 3:30pm.
Harmony Junior HIgh will start registration Aug. 1st 8am-4pm. You may pick up registration packets and schedules may be picked up when you return the packets. Meet the Teacher will be Aug. 8th 3:30-6pm. We're excited to see all of our students!

Monday, May 22, at 6:00 pm, the High School Principal will be hosting a parent meeting in the Elementary cafeteria. Topics will include programs of study as well as various student expectations. Thank you and see you there.
Harmony Junior High Awards
Please join us Friday, May 19, to honor the Junior HIgh students. The 8th grade awards will be held at 9:30 a.m. in the Junior High gym and the 6/7th grade awards will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thank you and hope to see you there.
“On Friday, May the 12th, the Harmony Junior High Beginner Band went to Bullard to perform in the Rose City Music Festival. They performed wonderfully and received a Superior rating. Congratulations to the 6th Grade Beginner Band on their accomplishment today!”
TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK
As Principal of Harmony Junior High, I would like to thank all my teachers and staff. They each work very hard to help our students become the best they can be and I could not ask for a better group of people. Thank you Harmony JH teachers and staff!
Secretary Appreciation Day
Today is Secretary Appreciation Day and I would like to thank Mrs. Judy Wall for all the hard work she does each and every day. She works diligently to ensure the campus is running smooth and without her we would be lost. So, THANK YOU Mrs. Wall!!!
STAAR Testing
Testing begins tomorrow, April 25, with grades 6-8 Reading and grade 8 Science on Wednesday, April 26. Please be sure your child gets plenty of rest the night before and have them charge their chromebooks.
