Harmony Junior High All-Region Choir On Saturday, October 21, 2023, students from Harmony Junior High auditioned into the Region 4 All-Region Choir which will perform at Mount Pleasant High School Auditorium on Saturday, November 4. They competed with other Texas Music Educators’ Association Region 4 schools including Pine Tree, Marshall, Gladewater, Kilgore, White Oak, Paris, Mount Pleasant, Texarkana, Sulphur Springs, and Commerce, among others. The All-Region Junior High Choir students will rehearse on November 4, with outstanding choral directors from across Texas and present a concert in the afternoon. All-Region choir students will receive an All-Region patch after the concert. Their teachers said the following great things about them! Coach Salter wrote: Mia does everything that is asked of her. Even when she was sick and her mom was on her way to pick her up, she wanted to be in class to prepare for a test that was coming up. Mrs. Langford wrote: Tripp is always smiling and is happy. (Full or Part time) This person will support the district’s 6-8 Instructional Math program to ensure academic improvement and student success. The focus of the position is on Instructional interventions for struggling students and teacher support.
