An accident on Hwy 154 has caused some of our busses to be delayed. They have been stopped so emergency services can attend to the accident.

The DPS and Upshur County completed an off campus traffic violation stop behind the Junior High campus this afternoon. Our campuses are safe.
We are thankful for our officers and keeping our communities safe.
Our zebra bus had a belt break this morning. We were able to safely pick the students up with a new bus and continue the route. We apologize for running a few minutes behind schedule. Have a great day!

A great day at Harmony ISD!
Thank you, HISD staff, students, and parents, for a safe and efficient evacuation and dismissal today.
At this time (3:10 PM) all HHS students have been safely released to their parents or guardians or returned to their classrooms. All campuses will continue to operate on their regular schedule, with end-of-day dismissal at regular times. The shelter-in-place has been lifted at all campuses.
All Harmony ISD busses will run at regular times.
Law enforcement along with Bullock Investigations and canine units have searched HHS and found no credibility to the threat. Harmony ISD will continue to work with all authorities on investigating the origins of the reported threat.
We expect to resume normal operations tomorrow morning at the regular time. Students may pick up items left at the school tomorrow morning.
I will continue to update staff, students, and parents with more information as it becomes available.
The safety and security of our students and staff is of utmost importance in Harmony ISD. Thank you to our School Resource Officer, Mr. Lonnie Henry, Upshur County Sheriff's Office, and Bullock investigations for your coordinated efforts to keep staff and students safe.
