Harmony ISD staff, parents and students: Harmony ISD will have a delayed start on January 29, 2026 with classes beginning at 10am. We want to try to ensure the safest conditions for our bus drivers, staff, and students as they come to school. (Several roads are pictured in the background) Bus routes will run two hours later than normal. For example, if a student’s bus typically arrives at 6:45 a.m., it should arrive at 8:45a.m.

At this time, if road conditions improve, classes may resume on Wednesday, January 28th.
District officials will continue to monitor weather and road conditions. Any additional updates will be communicated through official Harmony ISD channels, including phone calls, text messages, email, social media, and the district website.

Due to freezing temperatures, continued icy conditions, and unsafe driving conditions, school will be closed on Monday January 26, 2026. It is our wish to notify families as early as possible to help with planning for Monday.
We will continue to monitor conditions throughout the weekend, and a decision regarding Tuesday will be shared later. Please stay safe and warm.
